It's a beautiful view that's what you'll pay for when you buy food cause I've had better frozen dinners
Give them a call
Yes we do deliver and there is no minimum.
I love this place! Great service and delicious food! :)
Amazing service, amazing food, amazing workers. Period!
The Mole chicken enchiladas are Awesome. Mole sauce just right mix of bitter and sweet.
Great food! Friendly people, nice atmosphere. Recommend and we will be coming back ❤️
The tacos were very good and full. Everything was fresh and order was prepared quickly.
Food was excellent at a very low price. Fresh homemade authentic food. Definitely reccomend this place as a "must try" if in the area.
This can be a long review but for the sake of helping others let’s keep it short. Food : Amazing taste and fresh for very reasonable prices. If you care about the looks, then they’re is holes and patches on the wall. Now the customer service is TERRIBLE. I had to look and waves and wave to get the young man’s attention. Several times. I’m reading racist comments and while I can’t speak on that I’m very light skin and my mom is dark complexion and asked a question and wasn’t acknowledged and the question was answered to me... could be racism or poor customer service.. opps.. again food is good and price are very affordable.
My wife and I visit Oasis every time we visit (frequently)San Antonio. I think it's the best Mexican food downtown and a very good price. We really enjoy the slight differences in the taste of the dishes compared to our favorite restaurant in Corpus Christi. Go one time and this will become your spot for Mexican food in the downtown area.
Wonderful food at a good price.
Feels like family, and the food is great.
Simple, authentic, and cheap. Only reason I took off one star is because the tables are a bit crowded and the building itself might need some maintenance but overall it was great!!
Very good Tex-Mex Mexican food at reasonable prices.
Always a cute little lunch spot. Fantastic food as if it was made by someone's grandma. The good kinda touch. I've yet to have anything bad but my fave is the beef puffy taco. Yum!
Lunch was cheap. No subs on the plates. Crispy beef taco was pod meat not real picadillo. Mushy. Enchilada was ok. Tortillas not homemade. Won't be back.
Good service and food
I wish I had pictures it's an awesome place. It's the cheapest yet best quality breakfast/early lunch place within at least 5 miles the Alamo. It's a little hole in the wall that you would miss riding by but by darn it, it's a hidden treasure and a locals golden nugget. Endless thanks to the friend who showed us this place!
You can't go wrong here. Good :)
Excellent lunch spot. Prices are good and portions are decent.
Waited 25 minutes get a drink order. Then it takes 1 hour to get our food. Fine "we have to wait to get good food" but it wasnt even hot or warm.. I had a bad experience! Sorry. Only one puffy taco was warm enough to eat.
This place has never let me down. The food is as good today as it was 10 years ago.
In January 2019, I visited the Oasis Café with some friends for a late breakfast and it was incredibly nice! The place inside is authentic and cozy, the food was tasty and fresh, staff very friendly and most importantly, we got a loooot of food for our money. If I remember correctly, they only accepted cash, so come prepared.
Pretty good food for reasonable, cheap prices compared to everywhere else. Take advantage of the specials if your out and about early in the day
Great Prices but small portions
It's alright. You get what you pay for. Nothing special, or very flavorful. It's pretty meh.
I have been getting tacos here randomly for the past two years and they have always been tasty. I usually get them around breakfast time when I go. I have never had any issues. It's family run. They are all very nice and polite. I would recommend them if you want a small town vibe Mexican restaurant or some good tacos.
Real hole in the wall kind of place. Lunch was delicious.
Cheap fare for downtown. Fast service. I had three breakfast tacos: Chorizo and Egg, Weenies and Egg, and Chicharron and Salsa. The salsas were rather bland and the best taco was the Chicharron and Salsa.
Hole in the wall place that may look a little sketchy. but the food is great. the salsa is outstanding and the people are friendly
Was such a cute little hole in the wall, the food was amazing definitely authentic mexican food. Pricing is right on point.
Real good food, real good people, great prices!! Homemade tortillas and authentic home style Mexican food. If you want mediocre, overpriced versions, and fancy surroundings, Riverwalk is a 10 minute walk away. If you want to feel like you're a guest in someone's home, try here..it IS a converted house!
Just ran in for a bfast taco - was not disappointed! Great tortilla and country sausage. Good salsa. Will be back!
Beef enchiladas were good.
Its was not good but not terrible. The guy was only one helping tables. So i felt bad for him. Got my drink order wrong. The food was ok. The rice was not fresh that much i can say. Also not cheap unless ur eating the lunch special. I can see it a popular place cuz it was busy.
A little hole in the wall and you know what people say about little holes in the wall restaurants? They have the best authentic food. Service is quick and friendly
Prompt service. Puffy tacos and rice tasted great. The lunch special is an excellent value.
Good, simple Mexican food in authentic local Mexican family ambience. I appreciate the moderate servings and accompanying prices. A great breakfast for two under $15 even with drinks.
Excellent food and service. Nice to eat in a restaurant that's not so cold your food is cold before you finish. Nice quaint atmosphere... homey. Highly recommend.
Always do good to me when I order my breakfast tacos. Also, it's a mum and pop restaurant that has good customer service. I recommend this place to my hotel guest all the time for something close by, quick, and tasty.
cafe food and the feeling at this location is excellent. Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. Really nothing but good experiences here. It has a good interior.
Legit Tex-Mex. Don't waste your time on the River Walk over paying for sub-par food, come here! Friendly service , GOOD FOOD!
Enchilada gravy was spot on; thick and savory. The filling was a little skimpy and they use American cheese. Puffy tacos held together great and the shredded chicken was tasty. It was a cute little place and I'm looking forward to going back.
Omgg. The tacos are so yummy! I live about 21 minutes away from Oasis , but time can never keep me from you,,,,,,,,only gasoline but gasoline has been kept FULL so almost every morning I creep on over there with no regrets ever! Ive tried every taco on the menu, platones are next. I'm never shy, just always hungry! Can't stop won't stop!
Staff are great as well as food
Service was good, the food was ok. Ordered beef enchiladas, they gave me chicken enchiladas. I'm used to the sauce being spicy on the enchiladas verdes.
My first time. Out of state but heard of it. Nice little place with good variety on the menu. For my first lunch I had the #6 combo which was two puffy tacos with rice and beans guacamole and “salad” which was basically lettuce and tomato on top of the tacos. All for $5.95. Not a bad deal at all. Good service too.
The decor was festive. The service was ok and the food was mediocre. C'mon, this is San Antonio..... Mexican food should be spectacular!!!! Probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Not terrible.
Oasis is a nice place to go and eat. Small, comfortable, get serve fast and the food is really great. The owner himself comes out to talk to people as well at times. Recommend the place definitely for their service & food.
This is a quaint local spot just off the beaten path of the river walk. They have some fantastic weekly specials that offer a good amount off food for a relatively cheap price.Their tacos are my favorite. They have fantastic breakfast tacos of all kinds. I would highly recommend checking this place out for breakfast.
Delicous food with very good and friendly service
Classic little hole in the wall place near downtown San Antonio. Staff makes you feel like family always great atmosphere. Not crazy on aesthetics of it all but none the less breakfast tacos are great.
